1. Luxury Materials
Choosing only the best materials is paramount to bringing our designs to life. We meticulously source materials that are not only of superior quality but also environmentally responsible. Dependent on range this includes:

Sustainably Sourced Timbers: We select beech and birch hardwoods from responsibly managed forests.
Our Sustainable upholstery. Where possible, we incorporate recycled materials, giving new life to existing resources.

Quallofil® Blue cushion interiors: Utilising polyester fiber made from 100% recycled bottles, with 50% being Prevented Ocean PlasticTM, which aids in cleaning coastlines and supporting communities.

Ultraflex® foam replacement: As a product it is inherently flame resistant, meaning unlike PU foam, there is no requirement for additional flame-retardant chemicals. It is classed as ultra low VOC content which means it is healthier for the environment in your home. Not only is it made from recycled polyester including from single use plastic bottles, it can also be recycled once it has reached the end of its life in your furniture. Making it a truly sustainable foam replacement.
Our Natural upholstery. We use eco-friendly and natural materials where possible, minimizing environmental impact and ensuring a healthy living space.

Hairlok® foam replacement: Hair is spun into ropes to create thousands of natural micro-springs, resulting in enduring resilience. Then the ropes are transformed into sheets before being sprayed with natural latex, a fully renewable material, to provide them with structure and elasticity. Natural latex is inherently hypo-allergenic, antimicrobial and dust-mite-resistant, making it perfect for allergy sufferers.

Woolsafe® barrier cloth: This fire retardant barrier fabric is inherently fire retardant and is not treated with any chemicals. It is a type of heavy quality wool felt barrier fabric used under fixed upholstery fabric that is not fire retardant. The lining goes between the upholstery fabric and furniture base to comply with British Standards.

We use a natural hessian cloth: Replaces the typically used manmade base cloth.

We design with the future in mind. Alexreyn sofas are built for longevity and designed to be renewed, not replaced. With our take-back programme, clients can return their sofas when no longer needed. We then recycle, restore, or responsibly dispose of each component to minimise environmental impact. We are actively exploring material renewal strategies and reupholstery services to extend the life of our furniture. Customers are supported with replaceable parts, easy-care guidance, and long warranties. That’s why we offer a 15-year warranty on all frames, a 5-year warranty on cushions (when proper maintenance is applied), and an industry-leading 30-year warranty on springs.
